This wine won a Gold Medal Hong Kong 2018
Colour: Dark brick red base with hints of amber on the edges.
Nose: Strong cassis and rich blackcurrant fruits complimented by a nuance of tobacco are underlined with unmistakable Coonawarra Cabernet red earthiness.
Palate: Ripe blackcurrant and blackberry flavour?s that are balanced with complex toasted oak overtones a wine has the strong but elegant Coonawarra Cabernet tannins.
Food Matches: Ideal for game meats such venison, kangaroo or the more traditional lamb or beef.
Winemaking: A fine example of Coonawarra Cabernet and as such has warranted a „reserve? label. The fruit was sourced from a 40 year old vineyard on Coonawarra?s famous terra rossa strip.
Cellaring Potential: Will continue to develop with age, but very drinkable now.
Alcohol: 13.1%
